Not to take anything away from Joan Jett, 'cause she's real good too, but let us not forget about Suzi Quatro who laid the groundwork for Joan.

Never heard of Suzi ? You are not alone. She didn't get the promoting she should have in the states. If you like Joan, check out Suzi, a lot of her work is on YouTube.

This comment is the equivalent of women's mud wrestling. Way to drag the names of 2 excellent artists thru the mud. The last time I saw Joan Jett she was playing in a club with the ex- members of Seattle's legendary punk band, the GITS to help them raise money for the investigation into the rape & murder of their lead singer, Mia Zapata. There's also her production work with underground acts like Bikini Kill, Circus Lupus and the Germs. Jett deserves just as many props as Hynde.

Not even in the same universe man...saw the Pretenders at Radio City in NYC when they premiered P II...awesome show!! They started with "The Adultress" and just blew the place apart after that.
