@billt0626 Only if the lift calls for it, or you want to include more of the hips in the movement. An example would be rack lifts which are used to target specific parts of the lift.

@mrceebees14 Now I can give References and examples to back up what I have basically written. What about you can you do the same? Also if your so knowledgable as someone said this before me, why are you not a coach your practically said you can improve his lifting... Basically if your going to compare lifters make sure the both doing the same in this case they are both RAW lifters because your coming across like a Troll. A Raw lifter is always going to be superior to an equipped lifter...
-
@mrceebees14 So you mentioned AL Caslow yes he is strong when he Equipped and the reason for the low bar is that he is equipped and is forced to move with more emphasis from the hips because of the suit and they will never need to deep squat... Take away the suit and knee wraps and make him squat as deep as Zhang with the same weight and he would probably never get back up. If we look at both Zhang is the stronger. So your argument is pointless now
-
@mrceebees14 What is interesting about your argument is your comparing a Raw Weightlifter to an Equipped Powerlifter... So let look at the equipped lifter in an IPF approve suit knee wraps etc can add 100kg+ plus to the lift... Now this guy not an IPF competitor and the other feds suits are about double thickness so will add more poundage to the lift. Also a powerlifter never goes to the depth of a weightlifter in a squat only going parallel where the weightlifter goes well beyond parallel.
-
@Qupar93 actually, you fuck up your knees if you PARTIAL squat. below parallel is how you are supposed to do it.
-
loook at how developed his middle back is. thats the most important muscle in olympic lifting thats how you know if someones legit.
-
isn't it bad to bring the knees in on the way up?
-

@debunker1905 explain??
@mrceebees14
WOW. Why are you even here? You watch a 20 sec video of an Olympic champion and can instantly give him advise that will increase his max for almost 100kg!
You would think such an expert would be spending his days traveling and coaching power and olympic lifters around the world.
Why aren´t you a legend in the coaching world?
