The recent Royal Mail postal strikes caused a big drop in online sales.
Thats according to the IMRG Capgemini Sales Index.

While sales on the Internet have improved throughout the year, the last week in October saw them plunge 5%, as workers took to the picket lines.
That amounts to a fall of £53m.

Despite this, October's index did show UK shoppers spent £4.2bn online that month.

That is an increase of almost 12% compared to the same month in 2008
With collection from your work or home address Parcel2go.com is a great alternative to the Post Office.
