Wendy Walsh tells the story of how her gay thirteen year-old son, Seth, took his life after his school failed to keep other students from bullying him because of his sexual orientation.

The ACLU and Wendy Walsh are asking Seth's School, and all schools, to take steps to stop anti-LGBT harassment.

  • I cried... Stand up for these people!! When there is a group of kids attacking someone else, jump in. Don't just look away and keep walking. The more people do this, the sooner it will stop... hopefully.

  • I feel like throwing up.

  • I literally don't know what to say...

  • Some people are going to be cruel, yes, even when they are children.

    Why? who knows.

Instead of telling people "not to bully" or whatever, tell everyone this :

DONT' GIVE A SHIT WHAT ANYBODY ELSE THINKS OF YOU

    end of story

  • If you really have the nerve to dislike this, or disrespect this in any way; shame on you. You are just as bad as the one's out there that cause stuff like this. It's a shame that wonderful people choose to give up their life because of ignorant bastards.. I just bawled my eyes out. This stuff breaks my heart..People say to speak up about bullying, and he did..but obviously nothing changed. That school is a joke for that, and i hope people feel like shit for bullying him. Rest in peace, Seth. <3

  • @Tabby13Kat People should always do that. I knew a guy in my school was getting bullied and beat up and I didn't do anything. Then the boy commited suicide. I litterly want to kill myself because I was a bystander. The name of the boy was Ryan. You're doing the right thing to tell people to stop bullying.

  • @ThinSteve Think about what you're saying, please...he's gone, it's over, and his family would hate to hear people talking about Seth like this. Obviously I accept your opinion but just imagine what it'd be like for his family if they knew people were saying this about him. You being so insensitive...

  • @hotguy1935 Are you for real? >:/ I can't believe anyone would say that. It is beyond disrepectful.

  • @shirtlessgayboy Sorry, I didn't know what to say. It's so upsetting. :'/

  • not many people read out their children's suicide notes, this mum had courage and loved her son and wanted the whole world to hear his story and that bullying isn't just a game....ur playing a game with the victims life, its not a game once it ends and the person is gone...think twice about what how ur actions would effect someone.....stand up agains't bulling and lgtb bulling. R,I.P seth u were always one of us and will always be loved

  • I would beat the shit out of a person bullying another kid

  • the message should read at the end 'ANY schools have the duty to protect students from HARRASSMENT' period.
