Ninja did not move up this year, just stayed at 3'6 - 3'9. He did very well at this show - 6 classes and no rails. Next year, he will show 4'0 and possibly 4'3. He is a 6 year old Czech Warmblood.

  • he makes those jumps look like they are like 2ft. lol he's so cute:)

  • haha, oh yes, I agree. I can't wait until he has to try a bit so he starts picking up his darling little legs! :D

  • Wooohooo sticky right lead change...he's a big horse!

  • Yeah.. you know, he's fine when he's hacking. But on course, he gets lazy and drags it. It's really annoying! I guess that's something else to work on over the winter.

He's under 16.1 though! So not too big! I'm just small.

  • I'm in love with your horse! :) I also agree with the comments below.

  • :) I love him too! He is also very nice to be around.. really is a nice guy in general!

  • your has some mighty scope there! awesome round! good luck in 2010! i subbed! sub back?

  • I'm finishing school this year, so I've not had the time to put in to make sure his fitness level and training are up to that level! He got a couple months off during April and May (which is the start of our show season).

I definitely agree. It's not about the height; rather, it's about how well you do it! There are wonderful riders as well as poor riders at EVERY level. :) I do love my horse.. I would carry him if I could. :D So he will only be moved up when he is well prepared!

  • Good call on the repeat year, not in any way do I think he's incapable, (I'm also not a couch potato youtube critic).

my coach did the same to me , same height, theres something about the change from 3'6"-3'9" to 4' thats fairly significant. Its nice to hear that there are people that still know when to hold back and don't always push for 'higher!!! higher!!!' when the horses young mind just isn't ready to cope yet.
