the trees.



The song: Into White sung by Carly Simon and written by Cat Stevens during an extended hospital stay. Some of his fans interpret the song as him painting a contrasting picture between the muted white of the hospital with the intense color of the outside world.




I built my house from barley rice
Green pepper walls and water ice
Tables of paper wood, windows of light
And everything emptying into white.

A simple garden, with acres of sky
A Brown-haired dog mouse
If one dropped by
Yellow Delaney would sleep well at night
With everything emptying into white.

A sad Blue eyed drummer rehearses outside
A Black spider dancing on top of his eye
Red legged chicken stands ready to strike
And everything emptying into white.

I was eaten alive in Southern Florida 8 or 9 years ago, not by alligators mind you, but by those pesky mosquitoes, and I acquired a very protracted staph infection as a result. I was on antibiotics for 4 weeks before getting completely clear of it.

Very nice video ! That is not about the heat we Northern people are suffering or enjoying. The video was about the normal atmosphere. Not the extreme ones like almost we all in the world we have to face.
