His father recently passed in January. This song is gorgeous and it shows you how country music is there to tell a story, not talk about sex or drugs, but rather your life or the loss of someone else's. I know this is a sad song and all. And that all the people who disliked it may just have the same feeling that everyone else has when they listen to this song. The sadness fills all of us. And even though not all of us have lost someone close to us, we all probably do know someone who HAS lost that person close to their hearts. And the people who disliked it may just be trying to hide that sadness. Think about that before y'all go dissing all the people who disliked it OK?
