Great to hear the song in a proper manner but honey, the fact you bought the song on iTunes doesn't mean you own it, or the rights, they still can take you video off ;)

If it puts a few coins in Nik's pocket it is all good. Sounds flat and the faster tempo works against the original lyrical structure. Sounds like a demo more than a finished recording. Are all of the dynamics taken out so it can be played better on headsets? Hard to explain the lack of it unless it is just some uncreative way to differentiate from the original. Other than that, it just kind of sucks.
