  • О-оооо! Нахрена такие сложности?! Так долго? За 20 лет быстрее не научился? )))

  • Mix dry paste with vasoline it works a treat

  • Hi, can you tell me which kind of blowtorch are you using?

    Thanks, from France.

  • i oftern warm the metal before i apply the paste. that way its alot easier to get it to stick. its great stuff if you're using it right.

  • Hi with the silver paste when it starts to dry out, put the whole syringe into hot water and let it soak for about 20mins normally runs fine again after that!

  • Thankyou for explaining the benefits and drawbacks of using it, I did wonder why people used it when strip solder was readily available. I must admit I never thought of using it for jumprings... Doh!

  • the flame turned green indicating that the flux contained consists at least partially of orthoboric acid (borax). if this is true than the solder should be soluble in water or alcohol.

have you ever tried to redissolve the dried up silver solder? it could work with water, alcohols or acetone.

    best regards
