We were in new york at BH Photo store and met Angela and Wilson from Brazil. Nice couple and every one had a great time w/the joking. This was shot using Canon SD780IS point and shoot camera from walmart @ $169, if you can still find it.

  • @Silkenos sweeeet. i bought a 2nd one, and still have it in the box....just in case the 1st one goes south. :) Thanks for reply, and comments. :)

  • @ez2curanut Hehe, yes, I have bought it long ago :)... hmm maybe in late summer 2010... it's really great, I love it!

  • @Silkenos Sorry so late getting back... Did you buy this camera or another? A good friend of mine bought this same camera on amazon for close to $100 a few weeks back.

  • @ez2curanut Ah, I seem to have misunderstood transfer rate with recording rate, thanks for clarification, I asked because I have seen some other videos of this camera on the internet which seemed to have a slightly lower framerate than your video and was wondering if the memory card was the cause, I'm interested to buy this one since its price has dropped a lot and it seems to be quite satisfying in performance.for its small size. Would you recommend this one for casual photo/video? Thanks again

  • @Silkenos recording rate is what i think you meant to ask...I'm using a class 4 card recording@15~19mbps. transfer is when you export to computer, and it will transfer at whatever rate/speed your cable/connection is. Even @9mbps quality is better than VHS. Was edited in FCP6 imported as 1080i 30p, no color correction in post. Some clips intentionally freeze framed for censorship. Exported to QT in 1280x720. on the same topic...HDV is recorded at 24mbps.

  • what's the transfer rate on your SD card, cause I heard that it needs to be higher than 15 mbps for the videos to be smooth running..?
