The FirstGear Kilimanjaro Jacket has been an all-season adventure touring staple for years.
Newly revamped for 2010 it is a full featured waterproof jacket with a removable styled themal liner. This Jacket is also one of the few available in a Neon / Hi-Vis option, available at RevZilla.
@buzzkillor The velcro is a little fussy, lower pockets turn inside out every time you take anything out of them. If you don't close the pockets perfectly, they'll fill with water, and hold it. Baggy of water. Back vent velcros closed, making it practically useless. Unzip it and the velcro holds it closed. No velcro patch to hold the vent open like on some other jackets. chest vents similar. It's not an airy jacket. Very durable, thick material, re-enforced in all the right areas.

waterproof... Yea.. till you wash it the first time. and believe me hi-viz, you can't keep it clean. Just had a patch of rain, jacket was 100% NOT waterproof anymore.
When I got it you could just shake off the rain. But that VERY quickly went away.
Just re-waterproofed it with a spray can. Hopefully it works.
But other than that, which is probably the case with almost any jacket, it's just about the most awesome thing ever. It's obviously not a thousand dollar motorrad jacket.
