CRUISING ON A JONAS BROTHERS LOVE STORY SEQUEL chp 4

JOE: Nick! Do you remember that tie Sheryll bought me?
NICK: The one she bought you 3 years ago?
JOE: Yeah! That one! Where is it?
NICK: The last time I saw it was 3 years ago!
[Joe was upstairs in his bedroom, yelling at Nick who was downstairs watching Kevin play Guitar Hero]
MRS JONAS: Boys stop yelling!
JOE: Mom! I can't find my tie!
MRS JONAS: Just wear another one. I'm sure no one will notice.
JOE: Ugh!
[Just then Frankie walked into the room]
FRANKIE: Hey Joe, can you help me put on this tie?
JOE: Frankie! I've been looking all over for that!
FRANKIE: It was under my bed.
[Joe took it from Frankie with an incredulous look on his face]
KEVIN: What time are we leaving?
NICK: At 8:30. We have to be there by 9.
KEVIN: What time is it?
NICK: Almost 8.
KEVIN: Shouldn't we be getting ready then?
NICK: You guys should. I don't have anyone to really dress up for.
[Kevin could sense Nick's sulking attitude and changed the subject]
KEVIN: I wonder what we'll be wearing at the photo shoot.
NICK: [Sarcastically] You can wear a dress and heels if you want.
[Nick got up and went upstairs to sulk in privacy. Kevin turned off the TV and went to get dressed]

[Sheryll was in her limo on the way to pick up Sarah]
LANCE: So who is this girl we are picking up?
SHERYLL: I already told you. She's my best friend from high school. She goes to UCLA now.
LANCE: And you're sure she won't ruin your image?
SHERYLL: There's no scandal in this.
LANCE: Good. We don't have to give the media any reason to spoil your name on the front page of every magazine.
SHERYLL: They've probably stretched out the rumor of me being anorexic enough and are hunting for something juicier.
[Lance pretended to be sifting through his papers]
LANCE: Hopefully that rumor wasn't true.
SHERYLL: [Angry] I told you it's not.
LANCE: I've just saying that you've lost quite a bit of weight.
SHERYLL: I've been working out a lot. Ask my trainer: you're the one who hired him.
LANCE: Alright, alright.
[The limo pulled up to Sarah's driveway where she was waiting with her mom. Sheryll got out to greet them]
MOM: Sheryll, you look lovely.
SHERYLL: Thank you very much. Sarah are you ready?
SARAH: Yeah, but where are we going?
SHERYLL: It's a surprise
MOM: Don't have her out to late.
SHERYLL: I promise I won't.
[Sheryll and Sarah got into the limo]
SHERYLL: Sarah, this is Lance, my manager.
SARAH: Nice to meet you.
LANCE: The pleasure is all mine.
[The rest of the way, Sarah talked about college life: parties and excessive homework. Sheryll talked about life as a model, and how boring she never knew it could be]

JOE: Where is she?
[Joe was standing on his toes to look over the racks of clothes they were trying on]
KEVIN: Relax. She'll be here soon enough.
JOE: Yeah, well, what about Sam?
KEVIN: I sent her a text with the directions.
NICK: I don't think these clothes are my style.
JOE: Nick lighten up. Don't be a party-pooper.
SAM: I think that shirt looks great on you, Kevin.
[Kevin was trying on a shirt in front of the long mirror]
KEVIN: [Smiling] Hey Sam!
SAM: Hi!
JOE: I guess we're only waiting for Sheryll now.
SAM: Yup. What do you guys usually do in a photo shoot?
KEVIN: Well, it's really cool. We try on clothes. Take some pictures...
JOE: Try on more clothes...
NICK: And take more pictures.
SAM: [Unconvinced] Sounds like fun.
SHERYLL: It is... if you've got the right stylists.
[Just then, Sheryll walked in with Sarah]
SAM: Hi Sheryll. Hey Sarah.
[Nick looked up at the sound of Sarah's name]
SARAH: [Smiling] Hi everyone.
[Sarah's eyes fell on Nick. Nick immediately felt a lot better]
JOE: [Whispering to Kevin] Looks like the party is finally getting started.

[While Sheryll was getting her hair and makeup done, Sarah and Nick sat on one of the couches and started talking. Nick was all smiles as he talked to her. Sam helped Kevin pick out the hottest outfits. Joe, feeling out of place with Sam and Kevin, went over to Sheryll]
JOE: Hey.
SHERYLL: Hey.
[Sheryll didn't look up from the magazine she was reading]
JOE: How've you been? I wanted to call you a few times, but you changed your number.
SHERYLL: I had to because I was getting a lot of prank calls.
JOE: I remember when I used to get a lot of those when we started becoming "famous."
SHERYLL: [Smiling] Do you remember the time I answered your phone and I pretended I was your sister?
JOE: [Laughing] Yeah! We almost lost that record deal.
[Sheryll realized she had let her guard down]
SHERYLL: [Serious] Well that was all in the past.
JOE: Yeah, we used to be really close then.
[Joe walked back to Kevin and Nick who were dressed and ready. Sheryll stared into the mirror, not really seeing why she couldn't be herself anymore]
