I remember in the episode when Slimey returned from the moon was the episode where Slimey first got a voice which was in the late 90s. Before he left for the moon, he didn't have a voice and he only communicated with squeaks and gestures. (I wonder why he got a voice after many episodes and I wonder what caused him to get a voice. Maybe he had a voice all along but never talked out of sadness because his master is Oscar and he talked because he got a fun thing to do which was the moon).

Pun or no pun, Tony Bennett's appearance on Sesame Street has to rate as one of the best appearances in the show's 41 year history. I loved this so much I converted it to audio and saved it. He is one of the greatest crooners of all time and still alive today doing his thing...why he could make a jingle for manure sound like solid gold.
