TRASH, WAS RELEASED AS THE FIRST SINGLE OFF MANIFESTO. IT WAS DISMISSED..BRYAN FERRY, WAS ASKED WHY..HIS RESPONSE.."BECAUSE IT IS TRASH." RECEPTION OF THE REUNION ALBUM REBOUNDED NICELY WHEN "DANCE AWAY" WAS RELEASED IN 1979..

What's so nice about this version is there are no pops and crackles like what's on my 45rpm. Every now now and then, when I get-a-drinkin, I listen to old stuff like this and it's sooooo goooood. Thank you for posting such a clean version of this cool b-side.

The original version is pure Roxy ...Unfortunately, this is more akin to the drudgery that Bryan has consistently produced over the last 20+years ..... Roxy Music couldn't function without Ferry ...but the reverse is also true! This is more of a ' Taste of Ferry to Come ' than your actual 'Classic' Roxy Music

Great version, and the oneI I always preferred, Manzanera having a go at the compostion.
'kin great tour in 79, Ferry stalking on to the stage, bac drop out of early star trek, vulcan makeup, tibbs on base etc, free streamers on your chair, 'kin great.

SO happy to hear this again... I've not had a turntable in years, so my 45 rpm of Trash / Trash 2 has been silent, but I've always recalled this alternate version of my all-time favorite Roxy Music tune.

I actually think this is the better version as it sounds like what they did best in this period and not trying to be new wave like the album version, Just my opinion....
