  • This is a good Senator. Anyone who votes against him isn't very bright.

  • While my philosophy is very different from that of Feingold, I have to say these ads are a masterpiece. He has a lot more integrity than many US Senators, on either side of the aisle.

  • Russ Feingold for President 2012

  • @yzetta I am not going to play your game where you try to pass yourself off as objective and honest when you are really just another partisan. I reject the invitation to provide a forum to your charade.

  • @NYerintransit I'm asking you to argue honestly. You made an assertion about Feingold's negative campaigning and I asked you to provide an example. You won't or can't do it, but rather all you can do is give some "I'm victimized" statement about me taunting you and hand-waving. That shit might work on Fox "News" but it doesn't work in the real world.

  • @yzetta You lost this argument three weeks ago and you're now trying to revive it with nothing more than a provocative taunt. Your fairy tale notion of Feingold and the campaign he ran is heard and duly dismissed.

  • @NYerintransit You're not going to? Or you can't? I bet you can't. You thought you'd make your little assertion and never get challenged on it.

  • @yzetta I'm not going to. Based on your arguments, its clear you're one of those who is so enamored with Feingold, that your objectivity is untrustworthy. Your hero worship is all I'm hearing.

  • @NYerintransit Find me an example of Feingold being negative, then. I'll tell you this: I knew of people who were about to tear their hair out because Feingold wouldn't run with the info about R. Johnson testifying against the bill to extend the statute of limitations for child molestation - but he never did. That's what I'm talking about when I say a neg. ad. Maybe you think any ad pointing out a problem with one's opponent's policies is negative; to me that's just telling the truth.

  • @yzetta Are you serious? You're trying to tell me that Feingold never relied on negative campaigning during his career? Granted, he's a down-to-earth, folksy guy. But that doesn't mean all his arguments or campaign ads are positive.

  • @hachoi23 Thank you for saying that. I always appreciate it when people from diff. politics can appreciate Feingold's integrity. It goes without saying that Democrats, especially Progressive ones, would love Feingold, but it is nice to find fellow Americans that can look beyond labels and see that at heart he is basically a good public servant.

  • @NYerintransit What negative campaigning? Feingold never insinuated anything about Johnson's ethnicity, but (probable) outside money paid for flyers that insinuated negative connotations about Feingold's Jewishness, per another Jewish person in WI who got one of them. Then there was lie after lie after lie on TV funded no doubt by the Kochs and/or Karl Rove's group. The only part of your statement that is true is that Feingold was the incumbent.
