SURPRISE (1935) is a rare treat from the archives of T.C.M. that will air once in a while on the channel. This 21 minute "Broadway Brevity" produced by Warner Bros. stars the legendary Duncan Sisters. This is the first tune from SURPRISE. Enjoy.

  • Vivian Duncan was married to THE MOST GORGEOUS MAN who EVER lived-- Mr. Nils Asther. Sadly, they divorced after only a couple of years. I really think she must have been something special to catch Nils- so I love her!

  • I note that the second part has now been posted to show the second half, very innocent stuff really, very much of it's day, as was their whole act as Topsie and Eva

And yet again NEVER shown by TCM in the UK, the most useless of movie channels, totally a mess outside the US. Should be closed down!

  • BBC . for Chri..ts sake show some old movies! , you should be ashamed!

and we pay to watch all the rubbish you put out. These old movies are GEMS.

  • @swallin19. I understand that the BBC bought the whole of the RKO film library but never show them. All that the BBC left wing looney freaks know is soaps, quizzes and cooking. Shut the the place down and save the taxpayers money.

  • I LOVE their appearance on Liberace's show. It's WONDERFUL!!

  • I have a LIBERACE set of DVDs where they appeard on his show circa 1955

  • TCM absolutely refuse to show these films in the UK, despite charging for the film channel, only allowing US customers to view them.

Do you have the full film???????

  • Listed as lost for many years, extremely rare appearance of the Duncan Sisters, whose film career never took off, after a handful of early sound films, but they continued on stage
