Toothpick balance trick,...

The Set up: (PLEASE, leave a comment)

You need to stick a toothpick into the cork in a wine bottle or the wax in a candle or sometimes I use one of the holes in a salt or pepper shaker, anything to get a toothpick standing up on its own, and sturdy.
Now, explain that you're going to balance a toothpick on top of this fixed, standing toothpick. Sounds impossible, but now explain the toothpicks are going to meet point to point, tip to tip, at a 90 degree angle. Now I know what your thinking, "How is he gonna get a toothpick to balance off the tip of another toothpick, this would leave one toothpick just out there defying gravity". It gets better.
Now, explain that you're also going to put some weight on the "gravity-defying" toothpick. Lets say the weight on 2 forks. Yes, we're going to put 2 forks on the toothpick that will be balancing off of the tip of the other toothpick.
This is a great trick and can be done almost anywhere.
This is a show stopper,... people will come from other tables,... waiter's will call out the chef,... people will pull out their camera's,...
