With a bird's eye view of the Joe R. and Teresa
Lozano Long Center for the Performing Arts as the backdrop, Novare Group Holdings, LLC and Andrews Urban LLC (Novare/Andrews Urban) pledged $250,000 to the performing arts center's capital campaign from one of the highest floors of 360 Condominiums, currently under construction at Third and Nueces streets in downtown Austin, Texas.
To date, the Long Center has raised nearly $81 million in its capital campaign, exceeding its pledge goal of $77 million. The additional funds will help avoid interest costs on borrowed money while pledges are paid over time.
Novare/Andrews Urban is currently developing several mixed-use residential projects in downtown and at The Domain in northwest Austin.
Upon 360's completion in early 2008, the 44-story, 563-foot condominium tower will be one of the tallest buildings in downtown and will feature 430 residences and approximately 14,500 square feet of street-level retail space.
Speakers at the event were:
Jim Borders, President-Novare Group
Taylor Andrews, President-Andrews Urban
Cliff Redd, Exec. Director-Long Center
