Wolverine: Old Man Logan Teaser [Fanedit]

YES, IT'S FAN-MADE. Fifty years into the future, the supervillains have taken over USA and Logan is a peaceful but poor farmer and family man.

Based on Millar & McNiven's 8 issue story arc in Wolverine (2008), I saw a photo manip using Clint Eastwood as Old Man Logan and dared myself to try it. After watching Firefox [1982], I immediately got to work on it, finding footage for a teaser nice and easy. I read Old Man Logan the same day and was bemused to learn that it's another Mark Millar story - like so many of my fanedits. So despite the man himself positively acknowledging my recent Nemesis trailer through his Twitter, this video is not an effort to get Millar's attention - it's just a coincidence and I really like his writing.

PS - try to ignore my meandering aspect ratios in this - I didn't do my usual final filtering trick. It changes during some Hulk and Iron Man shots!

damm it! I was making an Old Man Logan trailer too, but now it looks just bad compared to this j a j ajajajaja great job man!

Oh! and I was using clint eastwood from unforgiven too, he is just so wolverine in that movie.

HOLY SHIT! I just did a fancast on Comicbookmovie regarding Old Man Logan, and now someone did a fan trailer to this?

- Clint Eastwood looks just like an older version of Hugh Jackman, so great choice there.

- And how did you make Red Skull at 0:52?

- Interesting we used the Kingpin from "Daredevil" for the Kingpin in "Old Man Logan". I would've used Terry Crews from "Idiocracy", because Crews looked just like Kingpin. But, hey, no problem with Michael Clarke Duncan.

@RoadDogXVIII - Yeah nineties Eastwood is antique hero du jour in many fancasts. Red Skull is a nazi zombie in a Skandinavian gore movie called Dead Snow. - I just 'redded' his face more.

this is a fantastic video, the only thing is the lack of Hawkeye and the music feels not very fitting with the main theme, maybe you can use some footage of Kris Kristofferson from Blade for Hawkeye and the song from the Terminator Salvation trailer, i think it's called the day the world went away or something, and it was done by nine inch nails. anyways, great inclusion of Red Skull and the black Kingpin from the book, and Banner Jr. too, but how does Doc Ock fit in?
