Too much of what I see is blatant. Subtlety can cause a shitstorm when you go about it properly. If people can't immediately identify you as a troll you get a bigger reaction.

Yes I do agree with you on that. Chanology started as a rl troll. Yes, there are a bunch of moralfag who kicked in and people left because of it. I joined in for the ''moralfaggotry'' at first and ended up a troll and I don't give much a shit about the ''moral'' much. I just troll by pissing off an easy target for the fuck of it. I can see what you mean by ''passively trolling but putting a moral face''. I do the same thing.
