Taking all the photos we took in Part 2 (http://bit.ly/9j24fh) and assembling them into a movie in Google Picasa and Windows Movie Maker.

Steps:
- Take all the photos off the camera and put them into a folder.
- Load them into a video editing program like Picasa or Windows Live Movie maker.
- Im going to show you in Picasa because its free and available for download.
- They also are user friendly and ideal for someone who is just getting started. And did I mention they are free?

In Picasa Set the time-lapse frame-rate to 1/30th of a second. This will show 30 pictures every 1 second. We will also set it to 30 frames per second in Windows Live movie maker but its not as easy. Check out the video for a hands on approach.

Save your movie and spread it around!

You can download:
Google Picasa: http://bit.ly/9l4WNb
Windows Live Movie Maker: http://bit.ly/apCxwa

  • @tobbesupra217 - glad i could help! i hope you will post a video you create as a response to this one!

  • can you add a song(mp3) using picasa?

  • @4RGUELLESl You sure can. on the left side of the movie creation window, at the top, theres a button labeled load. By Clicking that you can add a MP# or a WMA audio file into your movie.

  • Is this for pictures only or can you use video for the Picasa software?

  • @ThisFrankyFaith While picasa is mainly for pictures, you can view and put together different movies. I dont think you'll have all the cool color correction and effects, but it will recognize them.
