Have you fixed the problem yet if not port forward the web server port 80 to the virtual IP you set up on the cluster. This way when hit from the public side it will forward all web traffic to your cluster ip.
I have a biig problem regarding this: what if the servers have public ips and are not in LAN ? should i connect them through OpenVPN ? or how will i manage them in this case? Please respond i see you know lots of stuff about this thing
I applied the command"sudo sysctl -p" I got this error message "net.ipv4.tcp_syncookies = 1
net.ipv4.ip_forward = 1
vm.min_free_kbytes = 16384
error: "dev.rtc.max-user-freq" is an unknown key". I'm using Kernel Linux 2.6.28.15. Do you think "Mythbuntu, increased vm.min_free_kbytes to 16384?? How do work around this problem??Thank you so much.
I'm newbie in Linux, something is confusing me here. On /etc/network/interfaces file you have eth0,1 and 2 are active?
Why? I just install the ubuntu server 9.04, everything is working properly. The only problem i'm having is accessing my website
from outside my network. My router and firewall are configured
correctly . I know that the solution for my problem is understanding your steps in this tutorial .I think by default ubuntu is blocking a traffic to my server,Thank you so much for your time

Yes I did, I register with Dyndns, I pointed my
domain name to the Dyndns domain, I switched to port 8000 instead of 80, It works
like a charm. Thank you for the reply..
