remember AVs resist debuffs too. You may stack up -34%... but it'll only debuff an AV by maybe... what? 10% or so. Depending on the AV. Otherwise a kin would just drop their damage output to the floor and all AVs would be cake.

I see the illusions part... but I still don't see why someone would use trick arrow...

The AoE - 15% RES debuff (Disruption arrow) is autohit - That is nice to have the phantom army kill things quicker since the damage will heal back if it's not defeated quickly.
Ice arrow adds another MAG 3 hold to lock down bosses incredibly fast.
Acid arrow has - 20% defence (Unslotted) and another - 15% RES. Again, helps you destroy things quicker. - Damn small AoE though :(
Poison Gas Arrow - The sleep sucks. You get this for the - 20% Damage debuff (unresisted by most? AVs)

Include an Ice tank running Chilling Emmbrace with PGA and you are talking about - 34% Damage from the AV. And it's all autohit. Not too shabby.
EMP arrow. Longest hold in the game MAG 3 @27.9 seconds UNSLOTTED.
Glue Arrow - Autohit -20% recharge speed.
