great tone. people don't realize but SG's are the classic guitar with the best shred tone.
-
If that's your crunchy tone, where's the heavy metal tone? Ha ha.
-
@doknero you dont need to. you need to rewind an SG and modify a marshall to get the sound RIFFGUY is hearing. keep in mind that this is somewhat a shit camera and dont forget youtube processing. ESP's are retarded to buy. all guitars sound the SAME using EMG's (and youre probably using 81, 60/85?) plugged straight to the amp.
and ESP's cost alot. although, an SG special faded cherry, costs 650$ new.
even after buying riffguy hot pickups, you get a better guitar that costs way less.

What a beautiful guitar! Your shredding is absolutely breath taking!

hey,
what snares do you use ??
thanks Glenn

Huh, always thought Gibsons sounded to muted for my taste. Maybe I'm wrong ,but I'll still stick with ESP. I'm to lazy to mod and amp and rewind pickups to get a decent tone out of one.

You are, Sir, fucking sick.
-
I'm not the biggest shred fan but that is great guitar playing.

Everything at 10 except the volume, which I think was around 3 or 4. Keep in mind this is not a stock amplifier.
