Cow Exploration! Yeah...I realise how ridiculous that sounds. lol All right so they try the milking, and the ten year old in Koki cannot resist making a comment. Unfortunately said comment is cut, but you can see him about to make the comment if you watch closely. The point now is to draw and express the emotions when looking at the natural setting where the cow stands. Kame keeps saying, "Whoa, today, I'm really good; I'm doing really well. I have confidence!" but as you see when he makes eye contact with Ueda, this causes giggles to erupt from both of them (so cute!) I think Fuji-san's is very nice, and I understand why Koki says he wants it. It's cute, but sometimes it's just too hard to draw Koki without making his expression funny. I honestly thought Koki would win this round too, but unfortunately he thought the cow would ruin the feeling, so it was cut from his work. lol. At first glance, Ueda's looks impressive, but then the minor details like the cow and Fuji-san are drawn...ah, how to describe it. Haha! I remember drawing like that when I was seven. Ueda's poem: This art piece...you would see..in an auction (or something like that?) Kame's could actually pass for some form of modern japanese art involving kanji placed in particular places. Personally, I think he just wrote "sora" in the sky and "mori" in the grass just in case people couldn't tell what they actually were. Like Fuji-san said, "Uuuwaa!" Ueda wins! Just because he actually drew the cow. Kame's poem sounded awesome though. What I got from it was something like: This atmosphere...would truly feel good...shall we watch it together? And you'll find it. (not completely sure about it) And now my favourite part. Clay moulding. I always used to think that doing this looked easy, but watching these three I see it requires a particular amount of hand pressure and gentleness. Two of which the boys seem to be lacking today. lol. Poor Kame manages to spoil at least two. Ueda is convinced that not only can he do it, but he deserves praise for it. I loved how he kept shouting, "Dou desu ka? Dou desu ka?" when the camera was Koki. The sensei explains its about the positioning of the hands and the amount of pressure you apply from the top. This seems to make it easier for them. Then they're instructed to depress the middle with two thumbs gently whilst holding the shape of the cup in place. Koki does well Ueda: Doughnut! Doughnut! *no reply* lol Next part shows us the results, and Ueda's exhibition doesn't end here. Ah~ This episode is just pure awesome.
