  • Acho que esta núsica até mal tocada (que nao é o caso de forma alguma) é SUBLIME!

  • The top note there at 3:51 gave me the shudders... It was so beautiful.

  • @ProkofievRules You're right. In my ignorance of religion I thought Orthodox meant Orthodox Catholicism

  • @JohnEBPiano

Uhhh pretty sure he was orthodox.

  • @espejosgigantes lmao who told you Rachmaninoff was Jewish. He was Russian, and pretty much completely catholic.

  • Rip the audio from this tune at speedyconversion doht cohm.

  • something about the warmth of an old piano recording always gets to me.

  • Thank you for posting this lovely performance. I wasn't at all familiar with it.

  • @ReturnOfTheStienway idk, my guess is that maybe he was playing a two-piano piece.... Even if he WAS backwards, it wouldn't change anything about Rachmaninov's prelude, or the incredible feelings Sofronitsky is able to communicate in this interpretation......

  • his picture is backwards...
