  • The problem with many online radios is they have a time out , or someone can take the tune control away from you,,, or you have to share it in some way....

    The mulitiband SDR at the University of Twente in the Netherlands allows many users acces at the same time EACH with full control , all at the same time.

    Now thats cool !!.

  • Thank you Greg. I looked that SDR up and tried it out. Very neat! Thanks for sharing. Apparently the Ten-Tec Omni 7 connects directly to the internet through an Ethernet port right on the back. The software control is built into the radio itself, so the whole thing can be controlled remotely.

  • Websdr has many worldwide locations and its radios are Software defined so they can have many many users listening to different bands on the SAME reciver at the SAME time! Its cool

    Also for those thinking of getting into ham HAMSPHERE is a VIOP radio sim.Fun even if there is no RF
