i really like the slower version of this song. it fits really well on rogue/marie's part, but i don't think it's quite as fitting for logan/wolverine as there was no response romantically from his side. i think he ended up being more like an older brother for rogue/marie rather than a lover. does anyone else agree? good job with the video tho - love the part where he finds her on the train! *sigh*

Thanks theatrechicken for your comment.(Excuse me for my english, not good, i'm spanish) This video is very special for me and it has a deep meaning for me because i was in love with a teacher when i was 16 and there was no romantic response too. The video shows what the song describes, she is deeply in love with him but he is a teacher and a responsable person and their relation wouldnt be considered correct.

That's why the song says, "don't stand so close to me" because it is an imposible love, you are my pupil and i'll be fired. They dont really became lovers because wolverine doesnot want and he says, please dont stand so close to me. Rogue suffers for his rejection and finally finds another boy who feels the same way about her.

You know,we are under social prejudices, teaches cannot fall in love with pupils.

you know i LOVE WOLVERINE <3 and i have always had a thing for teachers, i love the song don't stand so close to me, but i don't like this version of the song, and i don't know if its a diffrent version or if you just slowed it down but either way i just don't like it so much
