@MrPimwiddershoven They're not on his level. I think the only guys that compare are Landreth, Bonnamassa and Joe Satriani, and even they sort of pale in comparison. Derek is so organic and his solos are insane but never interfere with the song

@MrPimwiddershoven Dont you ever mention those two guys in the same breath as Trucks again. Derek is a prodigy, on not only slide guitar but in several disciplines, and he is a music scholar as well as a master of improvisation. He is humble and brilliant. He is one of the highest forms of musical development on this planet.
