The Bahá'í House of Worship in Delhi, India, popularly known as the Lotus Temple due to its flowerlike shape, is a Bahá'í House of Worship and also a prominent attraction in Delhi. It was completed in 1986 and serves as the Mother Temple of the Indian subcontinent. It has won numerous architectural awards and been featured in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles.
@Daracon75 the lotus temple resembles a lotus bud about to bloom. Your 2nd claim is probably true

@saajanjohn123 The temple doesn't look like a Lotus flower, nor was the Sydney Opera House design inspired by the act of peeling an orange. John Utzon's inspiration for his design of the Opera House was "sails of the yachts on the harbour, ribbed palms leaves as they fan out, cloud forms, and mandarin segments".
Clearly, you're wrong on all counts.

Is the lotus temple the only Bahá'í temple or house of worship in all of Delhi? Where are the other temples around the world?

@marabaap You mean seen the "Sydney Opera House"... it's not the Lotus in Sydney. You'd have to be blind to see that it's not a rip off. Either that, or biased. It's obvious the latter is the case.
