im 16, and moody blues is one of my favorite bands. I cant take take the shit that they call music nowadays, its sickening. I wish i was alive for this. Alive so i could witness the beatles , hendrix, these guys, howard jones, talking heads, earth eind and fire, pearl jam, stone temple pilots, dave matthews and all the other amazing groups. its ashame for me to be part of a generation that thinks katy perry is music

What young people cannot imagine today is the extraordinary effect on music that "Days of Future Passed" had when it came out. Prior to that point nobody ever dared to "crossover" rock music as a symphony. We hippies were astonished and the "straight" necktie wearing folks were totally stunned. It played over and over on the "underground" FM stations for a year.
Turn the lights off, put the album on, lie on the carpet, close your eyes and blow your mind. You won't even need grass, man.
