SECRET RAPTURE?---Like a THIEF in the night

In this video called the SECRET RAPTURE? --- Like a THIEF in the night we will take a CLOSER look at the SECOND coming of Jesus as a THIEF in the night and what the Bible meaning of the word "THIEF" means. In 2 Thessalonians 5:2 we read, "For yourselves know perfectly that the DAY of the Lord COMES as a THIEF in the night." , which makes in perfectly clear that the rapture of the church is one and the same event as the DAY of the Lord. The SECOND coming of Jesus is what the Bible refers to as the DAY of the Lord when Jesus is coming as a THIEF in the night in flaming fire taking vengeance upon the ungodly and those who do not obey the gospel. No where does the Bible teach that Jesus is coming as a THEIF to SECRETLY RAPTURE or steal away the believers from the earth to ESCAPE the time of GREAT TRIBULATION. The is only ONE second coming of Jesus and it is NOT split into two different raptures.

"Keep you from" doesn't mean being taken out in a pre-trib rapture, but that he'll keep us from giving in to the temptation to believe the great delusion. He'll help us overcome and endure to the end, whether that be to death or his return at the end of time.

The term, "keep you" also appears other times in the scriptures:

2Th 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep [you] from evil.

Jud 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present [you] faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

Also: Jhn 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Rev 3:10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

That would apply to the rapture BEFORE the 2nd coming, or the hour of trial would be Gods wrath. I don't think Jesus would care to protect us if we're already all dead, we wouldn't have been kept from anything.

Its kinda hard to keep a dead person safe from the wrath of God, they're already dead lol

And there would be 2 comings of Christ,the taking up in the clouds and his second coming.Why would he take us up in the clouds before he comes down to Earth to "Protect us" from wrath if most of us are already dead from the Mark or going to hell for taking it?Revelation 3:10 wouldn't even matter,the Mark of the Beast sounds more like a test than Gods wrath

I just can't believe God would put us through something so horrible after we have endured. The "Hour of trial" in revelation 3:10 could mean the tribulation or the wrath of God. But why would it matter if we were tortured and then forced to take the Mark or die. We would not be kept from ANY testing or trial, that would be the biggest test of faith ever, to die for Christ like he died for us.

And another resurrection AFTER the 1000 years. So the 1st resurrection is for the Martyrs who refused the Mark, the 2nd is after the thousand years.But the taking up in the clouds, I don't apply that to either of those events because both alive and dead are raised.And I really don't think Christians will have to face that horrid Mark, I sure hope not. But people will still be converting during the tribulation.And if almost ALL Christians would die at the hands of the anti christ

@AMATTEROFTRUTH Well this is how I see it pretrib. The rapture (Alive and dead taken up in the clouds) happens BEFORE Christians face the Mark of the Beast. There are really 3 resurrections,the resurrection of the dead AND ALIVE in Christ before the tribulation, those who refused the Mark of the Beast (The start of the thousand years)and at the end of the 1000 years is the resurrection of the rest of the dead Unbelievers ect) We know there will be a taking up,a resurrection the the martyrs ,cont
