thanxs for the reply, getting much better at it, my rim shots have np just this blast..lol

but i did order bumper-guards , there not for that purpose but sure do help alot and the rebound is awesome..:)

@ajtoy454 This is a rim shot where you continue lowering your wrist just below the rim. You shouldn't be hearing the rim any louder than a regular rim shot.

If this is your difficulty, practice rim shots like crazy. They'll make your drumming better, and you'll be playing this in no time.

Question please, Iam picking this technique up as iam practicing but iam having a problem here, iam hearing the rim more then the blast , ive tryed and watched more then enough vids to lean this, but my rim is loud and drowning out my rhythm, I guess you understand what Iam saying/ any iders please or advise

Of course its called blast beats or gravity, it's a name thats been given to it, the particular technique hes using is a gravity blast.

and.. "Why are most musicians such dickwads? Drummers esp." is possibly one of the most retarded statements of all time, you're obviously not musically talented in anyway otherwise you would be able appriciate how hard music can be.
