Zorán-Penitence-Penitencia-English lyrics

I think this song is one of his best. It is gonna be tough to translate it 'cause the lyrics are quite philosophical....but I like the challenge, so I am going to try it anyway...
Few days passed....
Oaahhhh!!! I did it!!! Boy!! That was hard....
Well, I have to admit it that even for me it was hard to figure out what the song writer (Dusan Sztevanovity, Zoran's brother) really wanted to say. After reading it 10 thousand times (just kidding) I think I've got a clue what this is all about.
Translating it almost word by word don't be discouraged if you do not understand part of the meaning of this beautiful complicated POEM.

PENITENCE

Numbers, flashings, quietly sliding elevator.
The wise smile is motionless.

A little jog in halfway and the
sweet blond smell is gone.
Something is choking me but the neck-tie
belongs to the complete impression.

with beautiful, clear words in Hungarian.

I hardly believed my Lord that I have to answer You.
When I looked around, I realized that nobody
cares about our stuff 'n things

I saw the Guilty and the Saint were changing their seats
and there were too many scumbags there in the deep,
practicing Your Power over us.

However, sometimes I was dreaming that
You will talk to me, but it turned out to be that
I am asking You:

Why did I get the reprimands?
Why did my mother cry for me?
Why did they steal from me, when giving is good?
Well, why are You always hiding?

I edited the "word-by-word" translation on

Jan/20/10, so now it is about 80% singable.

Looks like I have to refrase the words close to the end....Later...

Try to sing it along with Zorán..it will you a great feeling

I just discovered that reading the English words and try to sing it with Zoran, that some part is possible to sing......If anybody can rewrite it or alter it so we can sing it in English

that would be awsome.....
