I have a lazy eye too. I know your ultimate goal is to have her eyes completely normal however your main focus should be to instill confidence in your daughter.
Below is a link to a video I recently created to inspire adults with eye issues.

Can patching work on adults too? I've gotten eye muscle surgery twice and it hasn't helped and my doctor told me to wear an eyepatch at least 3 hours a day and I've been doing that for about 5 weeks already. He also put more prescription in my right eye cause that's my weak eye. Does anyone here knw about how long it takes for the eye to start getting stronger when wearing a patch?

Hi Every one, It was amazing to see Whit so confident during her patching exercise, my 4 years old son having same problem. but he react very aggressive then I try to start patching as advised by Dr., I will appreciate if any one help me to start patching my son, just give me any idea how I can agree him to wear patch on Strong Eye.

Actually, her eye muscle surgery is what led to misalignment and subsequent lazy eye. But all of the patching has paid off. She is now a beautiful 7 year old girl with NO eye problems. Hooray! We still go to her pediatric ophthalmologist once a year for follow-up.

She patched or used dilating drops off and on for 3 years to treat her lazy eye. We've been patch free for over a year now, so I hope the healing is done! This treatment only works on children. It stops being effective between the ages of 5 and 8.
