  • Had a great time here in '06, took a small boat out to a lovely spot with the best snorkeling I had on my one month trip (didn't dive here but did elsewhere). I hope some of these 'humble' islands aren't getting too developed, moving upmarket and losing their soul. I'm sure a lot has changed in the 6 years since I visited.

  • Thx for this video. We will be moving to this island i a few weeks and work in the hotels you showed. Castaway and Idyllic.

  • Do something with your sound.....so the movie is looking great place thks

  • @LabRat6619 There are some Islamic states in Malaysia like Kelantan and Trengganu,I think.Penang is a great place to visit but Malacca unfortunately, has lost it's charm due to shopping malls that dwarf important historical sites. But Indo-China is where the old world is at and I'm waiting to go there myself someday.Enjoy your trip there and I hope you find what you're looking for.Cheers!!!

  • @diemutha666 . Yeah, I prefer buddhism as an alternative religion not hard line Muslim culture. Although I have been told many times Malaysia is not hard line Islamic state like the Middle East states!

I respect its their country and have customs that won't change. I am just a tourist and don't mind navigating through these customs to get what I want from my trip.

Cambodia after there, so great variety!

  • @LabRat6619 Depends where in Malaysia you go to and what you want to do.I used to travel to West Malaysia a lot but because of their religious No-no's,I tend to go there less often.East Malaysia is more tolerant(Serawak,Labuan)

  • @diemutha666 . Yep, I don't help by visiting these places. But its nice to have pleasure while we are on this world! : )

    Malaysia next!

  • @LabRat6619 It's ruining the landscape.Phi Phi Island is a good example of over development in Thailand. The places I have been to are not as breathtaking as they were before.

  • Too much development for a tiny island, I was disappointed!
