man... i wash i grew up in this lego space "era". now the only shit you can get is like space police... it has no three parts to the ship does it? nope. but look at this set. its fricking crazy! wish we still get a chance to get lego sets like theses...

I love this set, I still have a heavily modified version sitting in my basement. Bring back the classic era. Thats what was so great about legos you could do so much with these things and make it your own.

I had one of those, too, back in '80 and '81. Love it! When I grew bigger and went off to play sports, my mom sold it in a garage sale. These were sure the best Lego Sets ever.

I got my Galaxy Explorer in 1980. I had saved more or less 50 dollars in quarters, and was happy to know I had enough to buy my first of the larger LEGO sets !

truly the best set Lego has done in the past 30 years, they should really do an anniversary set of this or something!

Great Lego model, fantastic animation. This looks a bit like the Lego Factory program, but I know they don't have the parts to make the Galaxy Explorer.

They don't?! Seems like a big oversight there.
It reminds me of that old proverb: If you don't got Mojo Nixon (pieces to make a Galaxy Explorer) then your store (Lego software) could use some fixin'.
