Trinidad Scorpion Chilli - The Hottest Chili in the World
Butch T variety Measuring a staggering
1,463,700 Scoville Units of heat!!
After one year of development from chilli seed to full plant and fruiting we now can introduce to you the new hottest chilli in the world.
Grown in Australia from seeds originating from Trinidad and supplied by the Hippy Seed Company and grown by the Chilli Factory, this hottest chilli in the world has been developed and grown as a team work effort with participation from the following people and companies:
- The Hippy Seed company who supplied the seeds of this chilli to the Chilli Factory
- Mark Peacock who helped with the growing process and provided adcie about diseases and fertilisers - (Mark is a graduate of Horticultural Science from the University of Sydney).
- The Chilli Factory is the grower of the new hottest chilli in the world (and is already growing the Jolokia Chilli, formerly the hottest chilli in the world for the past 5 years).

In general concerning some of the remarks on our video....The girls are German, Marcel and I are Dutch originally but been living here in Australia for long time... accent? sure we do. a very thick accent... I thought that was the good thing with Austrlaia? Australia is MULTI cultural and has been for a long time.. but we are all mates here and living the Australian dream,... not?? The fresh Trinidad Scorpion Chilli measured 1,463,700 Scoville units so hottest chilli in the world. You can make hotter sauces than the fresh chillies if you like by adding extracts. Derived from chillies but very concentrated and distilled to create more heat artificially We only use fresh chillies because the flavour is 10 times better... if you like it extremely artificially hot/ there are plenty of products out there for you.... not us we refuse to use and prefer fresh chillies!

The girls and Marcel didn’t have that much... compared to others and indeed it is a sauce so it has less heat than the actual chilli: when cooking chillies you have to add water and other ingredients... otherwise you burn the chillies. So product: 58% Trinidad Scorpion chillies less hot than actual fresh chillies.

I am glad to see that there are "experts" out there that know it all.... I am glad that they went through all the effort and time to get it all scientifically right and get it properly tested in a lab to get the results sorted out.....
