great danes danes and i think irish wolfhounds are taller but on pure body mass and wieght the english mastiff is the biggest.
ive got a 3 quarter bullmastiff 1 quarter dogue de bordeaux cross. he's only 3 months and i cant wait to see what he look's like when he's matured. have a look at my vid if ya want.

Hercules is the heaviest dog living. there are records of other dogs weighing more than him like Zorbra the heaiviest dog ever recorded 343lbs. He was a english mastiff.

Although Irish Wolfhounds are generally considered the tallest dogs, the current Guinness Book Of Worlds Records award for that trait goes to a Great Dane named Gibson. Gibson measures in at a massive 42.2 inches at his withers (nape of the neck)!
