Whenever there are symptoms of gastro- intestinal distress, I think first of slippery elm. Slippery elm powder quickly stops violent diarrhea and allays even convulsive vomiting. It nourishes and restores life to the intestinal tract. Slippery elm is a graceful tree found near streams and in wet areas throughout eastern North America (from Quebec to Florida and west to the Dakotas and Texas). I have been intrigued with this tree since I first met her. Her inner bark is a superb source of nutrients and a universal antidote for poisons (even bacterial food poisoning). learn more at: www.herbshealing.com

  • Wondering how you store them and for how long. I would imagine they will last quite a while (years?) because they are in honey.

  • @GoingVeggie - really will store as long as needed, neither ingredient are perishable. if you keep in the fridge, even longer...though not necessary...

  • Hi Susun! Great and cute video. I was wondering, when you talk about the inner bark can you give us more details on exactly where it is, how deep do we have to cut to get it without harming the tree? Do you have any other information on how to collect it and make our own powder? Thanks!
