@voodooseed72 Hey!!! - That's cute!!
Walking, riding bicycles and trains sounds very sympathetic to me. I do it all the time.
Got the expression from a Steely Dan song where Donald Fagen sings about a crowd of luckless pedestrians who gather in front of his house just to watch him being killed by the police.
So I combined that walking must be considered an inferior activity, at least amongst those Americans who take the car even to go to the mail box in front of the house.

@MrBaebel Nope. It was definitely 'snotty'. btw, 'pedestrian', when used as an insult is an adjective, not a noun. You would think someone as uptight and judgmental as yourself would know the difference. Although, to be fair, I was a 'pedestrian' today, if for just a few minutes, when I was walking to the train stop.

@voodooseed72 : Of course that sounds stupid but once again you prove to be a clueless pedestrian, it's just in another field...
Btw I didn't mean it "snotty", I just pointed out a fact.
-
@MrMaralisa "clueless pedestrian"? wow, you came to that conclusion from an omitted "the"? haha, what a snotty remark. To say "it's no The Smiths" just doesn't have a nice ring to it.
-
@voodooseed72 : Of course not, they are "The Go-betweens".
And please, the other guys you mention are "The Smiths"; - the way you name them tells me that you're just a clueless pedestrian.
-
I just found this guy on Wikipedia. Apparently we're distantly related. :D

Cute tune, but it's no Smiths.

Cannot believe somebody thought that this was a Beatles riff. This song is an original Australian composition and anything thereafter is never the same!

@SeanMCMLXVI Streets of your town by the Go-betweens is the original song. It is not originally by Milky, they used the tune and did well, but the go-betweens did not need to use another face in place of the real singer.

I think people that like The Go-Betweens probably are going to like Badly Drawn Boy.

I Have only 16, but I feel so connected with this song. This song is beautiful, from good old days than i never lived.
