Fort Corchaug, Cutchogue, NY - Located on Long Island's North Fork, Fort Corchaug was known as the Fort Knox of its day for the production of wampum (the currency of Native Americans). Evidence shows mankind living on the North Fork for over 6,000 years. Learn about this historically significant site, and the efforts that went in to preserving the land and it's heritage. In Part IV - Tipi Ted, of the Wilderness Traveling Museum, continues his informative demonstration of Native American life on the North Fork.
