One of my top tips as a frugality expert by far is...KNOW. YOUR. PRICES!! Keeping a price notebook on-hand when shopping is an easy and effective way to save your family thousands throughout the years. It's a simple concept, but adopting it will literally change your life. See how I do it here.

Just heard about your boneless skinless chicken price... the cheapest it gets here is $4.99 per pound! And ground beef is usually $3.99 per pound.

Wow... food is cheap where you live! I should make a book like this, but I think I do pretty well with my shopping already. Food in Canada is much more expensive then in the US, and I spend on average around $120 per week for a family of 5.
