  • the older zenith models were rated for aerobatics, but didn't think the new ones were. Does it have a fuel and oil system designed for inverted flight?

  • No. it's just the standard equipment.

  • just out of interest what speed is the entry , and at what weight ?

  • The Zodiac loops nice; just drop the nose and pick up a bit to about 120 kts and it will do a 500 ft loop and not loose any altitude. It is about a 2 G maneuver at close to gross weight.

  • It's a homebuilt, so the builder writes the POH. You can include anything you want....but that doesn't make it a good idea. An XL, though, is plenty tough enough for easygoing "gentleman's aerobatics" like that. +6 Gs at aerobatic weight, as I recall.

  • If you maintain positive Gs through the whole maneuver it probably doesn't matter! Does the 601 POH allow this maneuver?

  • Wow looks nice!!, have you any ide the, can the ch 601 ul do the same thing?

  • sounds good to me , what about +g rolls (barrell rolls)got rotax 100 horse ,they dont like any reduced g .

  • what was the speed at entry and the a/c weight ? just out of curiosity.

  • Looks like Zodiac put the "Sport" in Light Sport!!
