  • What a wonderful film..... a fitting tribute to British Engineering in on of it's finest moments! Hard to believe that this was the 60's and we've lost this wonderful heritage forever now with the end of the Harrier and export of the remaining fleet for 'spares' to the US :(

  • is a moovie? film?

  • Fantastic Historical Video of (I Believe) the worlds first Multi National Squadron ( USA-UK-German) as a member of the Squadron I thank you for the publication Kestrel tends to be forgotten but is part of flying history. Kestrel Evaluation Squadron 1964-65

  • What year is this video from? I built F402-B power plants for the AV-8B Harrier from 2005-2010 so seeing this is pretty neat.

  • Love this...thanks for posting it.

  • A harrier could be perfect for someone whit a very big garden

You could fly this from your local rc flying field or ultralight airfield.

  • In 1965 this seemed almost like science fiction. Whilst everone else was building bigger and heavier strike aircraft that needed more runway space Hawkers came up with a little plane that could operate from a field and hide under trees.

  • Very good, nitid footage.

  • Great footage, justa shame the P.1154 was cancelled.
