What if god is an alien.

We know God's not a woman, because we all aren't sandwiches.
-
@gariadara okay....sure....whatever floats your boat ma'am.

Gen 1 cannot be the reference to the "trinity" which is a concept that is man made for the most part.
Nothing outright in scripture declares existence of the trinity. Jesus refers to God being in him and he in God, which WE ALL are in that way. We are all IN GOD and GOD is in US.
Even IF the Jewish people revered women or Shekhina, they drowned her out with male driven power and ego.
GOD should NOT be defined as MALE ONLY. This has harmed women with that ideology throughout the ages.

Evidence in agrigarian studies (catal huyuk etc) provide evidence that these female led societies were peaceful.
Perhaps there are women in "history" who succumbed to the nature of warring male like testoserone territorial stuff, but for the most part women were peaceful. Even the "amazons", were NOT warring women, but they "defended" themselves well against those who wanted their territory.
But they did not survive and were eventually taken over and extinguished by violence.

I like to view those things too. Good points.
However, the subliminal and overt psychology of God as male permeates most major religions.
Ergo, MEN on earth claim superiority over women and justify it because the MAJOR religions ALL claim GOD as male.
WARRING females? Or were those statues/pictorals/narratives written or created BY MEN< from a MALE perspective, then STUDIED by men with a male bias? right to the 20th century. Some women may have conquered, but...

@anotheronem God is most certainly NOT male or female because that places an anthropomorphic limit on Him. God was most certainly also warring. Who wins or loses in war is said to be determined by God. Nor are female traits wholly non-warlike: in pagan Norse religion, those who decide victory or defeat in way are the Valkyries, who were female. Boadicea was a British warrior queen. The Goddess Athena was a Goddess of war strategy.

@anotheronem God isn't two gods. That verse either was an honorary plural or refers to the Trinity, which is the three persons of the Godhead. God is neither male nor female, rather He is referred to He because that identifies with the status of ruler and power associated with "male" attributes. When aspects of God are less "maleness-driven," God has been referred to in the feminine. Such as the Jewish term Shekhina, the "Presence of God," which is female.
she is so quick with her remarks - i could never do that. i envy her so much. she's so great wih sarcasm!
