White supremacists have used a nearly-identical argument to try to oppress black people. They have maintained that African-Americans and other non-white races have inferior brains, specifically in terms of size. Google “Proof of Negro Inferiority” by Alexander Winchell and you can read their whole argument about cranium capacity on the net. I don’t like to give it attention, but I feel it is necessary in order to illustrate what is happening here.

@candeeo2 There's a distinct difference here. White supremacists are saying that being a certain race is inferior, but this is an ideology, not a race. It isn't wrong to think that people with a certain ideology would have similarities in their brain structure.

@candeeo2 these are empirical studies not some argument against a group of people. I heard that alot as a retort to the fact of the study but it actually means nothing. It is true that there are physiological differences between black and white people, that is not racist because it is true. Just like it is also true that study after study shows a difference in the brains of conservative people and more liberal people. Facts are facts, you are not making a logical argument.
