The way I see all that people claim as prophesy, is historical in nature.

This is why as prophesy, it fails the test. Is it geographically accurate; is it in the proper time-line; does it name specifics?

Without those few minimum requirements, it is a generalized guess.

Though we should learn from history so as not to repeat the undesired and improve on the desired, we should not let it rule our lives today.
