Thomas Mesereau:
"The defence lawyers have to do something and what they're gonna try and do is reflect attention away from their client and onto Michael Jackson. The reality is Michael Jackson was not suicidal, he was not self-destructive in the way they're trying to say, and hopefully their defence will not succeed.

"I'm sorry that the defence is going to have to bash Michael Jackson to try and divert attention from their guilty client. The reality is he was a nice, kind, decent individual; he wanted to change the world in a positive away... and unfortunately I think the defence is gonna try and attack his character, and hopefully it will not work."

We l.o.v.e. you MJ and we always will. <33

  • @TheBunnyc i see AEG employing a good legal team, if they were a huge part of the trial. they have the funds to do it. the focus would remain on both murray and michael, and not the contracts. mesereau and cochran (rip) live(d) for this stuff- the details.

  • @TheBunnyc either way, the jacksons (or at least joe) have oxman representing them- which is odd, since isn't oxman on probation? and oxman was also kicked off the defense team when he was representing michael back in 2005. mesereu was great due to his focus. he kicked everyone out who he felt was not focused on the case. sneddon was too busy thinking about winning, and not getting the facts straight. i see the same thing happening here.

  • @TheBunnyc good question... it is possible, but i have not seen anything which stated as such, in my research on it. i do know people who work in the legal profession, and i will try to remember to ask them.

  • @lumbia33 . Don't know US law, but wouldn't the Mezz have to be an employee of the Los Angeles DA's department in order to be part of the prosecution?

  • @TheBunnyc i know, but he needs to change real quck. if he were the prosecuting attorney AEG executives would be called on the stand extra quick, and those documents from both sony and AEG would be called into question. i mean, that man pulled EVERY document out of everywhere in 2005.
