They pay Chinese $50 per year to put 20 of these things together per day. They work every day, including weekends.

@welovenerdmovies TechRestore does hard drive upgrades, matte-finish screen upgrades and memory upgrades, in addition to repairs.

I have a question for you if that's alright. I recently had my MBP repaired because of a faulty video card, literally got it back an hour ago. I might be mistaken, but it looked as though they upgraded the processor as well from 2.2 to 2.4. To any extent, it seems as though it is actually taking longer to load online content than before. Youtube videos are taking about 5 mins + to load, and I'm actually typing this while waiting on yours. My question is whether this is a temporary or not. thanks

What they did was replace the entire logic board, where bothe the GPU (graphics processing unit) and CPU reside. I would judge the speed of your laptop by it's performance with offline tasks, since anything online involves your internet connection speed and possibly airport card, if you are connecting wirelessly. Also, if you haven't re-installed your operating system, I'd try that, because it may be a bit confused by the recent 'brain' transplant.

Nice vid! Can your share your expert opinion on the MBP hinge? Is it a design floor? Should the screen "flop" down at a certain angel? I am still within my 14 day exchange period and I am contemplating sending my MBP back to apple due to the weak hinge.

I'm unaware of any known 'flopping' issue with the MacBook Pro screen - sounds like you should have Apple look at it.
